Staff and students travelled to Prickles Hedgehog Rescue in Cheddar on Wednesday 6 November to present a cheque for £65.50 from a cake sale held in the staff room before the summer holidays and to see the amazing work that they do.

Prickles Hedgehog Rescue is a small charity entirely run by volunteers and voluntary donations. They desperately need donations of poultry flavoured cat food in jelly, latex gloves, blue paper towels and old newspapers.

On Wednesday 23 October, we had a volunteer come to the College all the way from Weston-super-Mare to collect a baby hedgehog that was under weight and would not have survived the winter - an example of the amazing work they do.

We would like to say thank you to everyone who brought in donations for the centre in Cheddar. Along with the money we made from the cake sale, they were very grateful.
